Our Certificate of Debt Col 2:14 “having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.” NASB Mark 7:30-23 20 He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. 21 For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”

He forgave us all our sins, 14 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. 1 Timothy 2:5,6 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. 7. 3. Christ’s Redemption Means I’m Forgiven Colossians 2:13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made youalive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins.

  8. 1. Christ paid the debt for ALL of our sin by removing the barrier of sin. Hebrews 10:14-18 14 For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. 15The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says: 16 “This is the covenant I will make with them     after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts,  and I will write them on their minds.”17 Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”18 And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.

  9. Isaiah 43:25 “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more. • He has blotted all our sins from His memory forever. • Can I forgive the sins that God has already forgiven? 4. Can I forgive myself for the sins I have committed and God has forgiven?

  10. Confess= agreeing with God and naming it as sin 1 John 1:9 RememberGod has already provided forgiveness for all sin – Past, Present, Future Accept God’s forgiveness and the forgiveness of others. Forgiveothers for their sin against you. Matthew 6:14,15 14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
