  3. Wahrlich, keiner ist weise, Der nicht das Dunkel kennt, Das unentrinnbar und leise Von allem ihn trennt.

  4. Seltsam, im Nebel zu wandern! Leben ist Einsamsein. Kein Mensch kennt den andern, Jeder ist allein.

  5. Zum Autor: Hermann Hesse ist am 2. Juli 1877 in Calw geboren. Er war ein deutsch-schweizerischer Dichter, Schriftsteller und Freizeitmaler. Seine bekanntesten literarischen Werke sind „Der Steppenwolf“, „Siddhartha“, „Peter Camenzind“, „Demian“, „Narziß und Goldmund“ und „Das Glasperlenspiel“. Im Jahre 1946 wurde ihm der Nobelpreis für Literatur und 1954 der Orden Pour le mérite für Wissenschaft und Künste verliehen. Er starb am 9. August 1962 in Montagnola, Schweiz.
