  5. The 2010 Population and Housing Census Data Collection Method • Multi-modal data collection (September,1-30) Face to Face interview Self-enumeration • dropped-off questionnaire • the telephone • the internet

  6. The 2010 Population and Housing Census Field Personnel • Supervisor : 9,000 person • Enumerator : 62,000 person (Total of enumeration area about 130,000 EAs) Training (intensive) • Master trainer : 4 days (2 times) • Supervisor : 4 days • Enumerator : 4 days

The 2010 Population and Housing Census Data Dissemination • Promoting the use of census result • The NSO is now in process of improving the datadisseminationsystem by using ICT technology • The result of this improvement will help users to access data and information more conveniently through the on line “One Stop Service” system.

  9. The 2010 Population and Housing Census Data Dissemination • Promoting the use of census result • Meeting with our key users both at provincial and country levels to inform them of the availability and way to access the census data.

  10. The 2010 Population and Housing Census Data Dissemination • Publication Report • Preliminary : 3 months • Advance : 6 months • Final : During 2011 (province by province and whole kingdom) after completion of field work

The 2010 Population and Housing Census • Internet-based data dissemination  The Internet site http://www.nso.go.th will contain a web page with the Census results.There will be a data warehouse. There will GIS (geographic information system) presentations of the data. A service called “Census Info” will address ad hoc issues.  Special Analyses (in collaboration with educational institutions)
