ΣΣΦ- Rho Chapter Rho Induction Process • Send out invitations to top 25% of the students in each class (1st-3rd year) after Winter Quarter • Students submit CV, Essay, and Professionalism Agreements • Officers and advisor select members based on: • Scholarship • Character • Evidence of Leadership • Service while in medical school • Induction Ceremony held off-campus in May

ΣΣΦ- Rho Chapter Rho Member Requirements • MS II : • 20 hours Volunteering (T.O.U.C.H.) • 2 hours MSI Opening Tutoring • MS III/IV : • 10 Hours Volunteering (T.O.U.C.H.) All Members must remain within the academic top 40% of their class or be put on academic review
ΣΣΦ- Rho Chapter Community Service • Tar Wars: Educating Kids on Tobacco • Prepare skit and answer questions for scout troops and homeless children • Habitat for Humanity • T.O.P.S. • Free sports physicals for high school students • Project Cure • Collect, sorted and package medical supplies for delivery to underserved areas in need throughout the world • H.O.M.E. • Physicals and medical care at homeless shelter
ΣΣΦ- Rho Chapter Bylaws • Process of changing bylaws to invite academic top 25% instead of top 30% • This will help ensure members can maintain academic ranking above top 40%
