  3. Why this needs to happen! All humans are dependent on clean, potable water for survival Over a billion people to do not have access to clean water 21st Century issue that will directly impact students in the future

  5. Where • University of Phoenix Gymnasium • When • Monday April 28th • Time • 6:00PM to 8:OOPM Location and Time

  6. Our Esteemed Science department will have an hands on activity where student and families can learn how to purify water • Click Here to Learn More Science Station

  7. The Spectacular Social Studies Department will be sponsoring a game station • We will need three to five laptops at this station • Click Here for Games Social Studies Station

  8. Our Excellent English will be sponsoring a community and student essay writing contest. • Students and community members will write an essay about how they can reduce their daily water usage • They will also draw and color a picture demonstrating how they would do this • The winner will receive a donated gift card to the Cheesecake Factory English Station

  9. The Magnificent Math department will sponsor a water balloon toss. • Participants will toss a water balloon back and forth for a certain amount of time. Each time the balloon breaks they will have to solve a math problem to get another balloon. • The team that solves the most problems wins a free admission to Wet and Wild Amusement Park Math Station

  10. Raffle • Conservation gift basket • Include low flow shower heads, coupon for 50 dollar off septic pump out, and other items • Admission for 2 to the Aquarium • Coach bag gift set • Beach Gift Basket • Other • All raffle tickets are 5 dollars • All donated by local businesses Fundraising

  11. National Honor Society Rubber bracelets Blue Light Green Teal “Every Drop Counts” Two dollars each Fundraising

  12. Dress Down for Water Walk a-thon Students will obtain sponsors and walk for clean water • Everyone in the District will be able to dress down on Friday May 2nd if they donate 5 dollars Follow Up Fundraisers

  13. Rita’s Water Ice !! Rita’s will sell water ice with a portion of the proceeds going to water conservation
