  1. Pathway- FAQs

  2. The thermode does not pass the self test, after installing the software or in case of communication loss

  3. The SW didn't recognize the Thermode, or the wrong thermode is chosen in the SW: • Go to the Hardware setting and enable the thermode: ATS / Cheps. • Go to thermode tab and choose the thermode type that is connected to the system: Cheps, ATS 30X30, ATS 16X16, Intra Oral. • After choosing the thermode type, please set it as current. Followed by few OK. • Click Apply. • Run Self Test.

  4. The temperature of the coolant in the Thermode is too high, a message of water overheat was received (Error Code: 8008)

  5. water overheat A. Check if there is liquid in the cooling system, if not, please follow the instructions in the Pathway Operation Manual Page 161 to fill out. Check cooling water level

  6. water overheat • B. Check if the probe is connected and screwed correct. Check that it's all the way in

  7. water overheat C. Check the flow rate of the cooling water. It should be around 37 LPH. If it's too high, please use the adjusting knob to align it to the correct flow. If it's on 0 LPH, please check all connectors are connected properly or check that the thermode is enabled in the SW. Flow rate 37 LPH

  8. water overheat D. Clean the tubing system - use the dedicated filter kit, connect to the system to clean

  9. I installed the new MMS SW and got a message of “License verification failed. License key in device and license file is different”

Connect the SW USB stick (green one to the computer). • In the SW installer go to: Medoc Manufacture Remote Assistance Tools folder, than go to License folder and copy atslicense.lic. • Go to the Medoc Main Station Shortcut, Right mouse click on it and Choose Open file Location, Choose Paste. • Answer in the opened screen: Replace the file in the destination. Close all open files. • Take out the USB key and start using the Medoc Main Station.

  11. The cooling unit does not cool fast enough or cool too fast

  13. I plugged in the Thermode, but the software does not allow me to run the program I chose.

  14. Program choosing • There are two thermodes built in the SW, CHEPS and ATS. Each thermode has its own test parameters, therefore, each thermode type needs to have its own protocol. When creating a protocol, please make sure to choose the relevant thermode at the “probe type” section.
