  2. Step 1: Load desired extrusion into SolidWorks

  3. Step 2: Highlight Face to be extruded

  4. Step 3: Select Sketch Mode and Convert Entities command within Sketch Mode

  5. Step 4: Ensure all entities have been copied and select any additional entities to convert to sketch

  6. Step 5: Select Feature Mode - Extrusion

  7. Step 6: Enter desired extrusion lengthNote: Model is typically converted into SolidWorks at 1” so keep this in mind when entering your desired length.

  8. Tip: Use the furthest edges of the extrusions as reference planes while creating assembly mates
