Project Summary • Application for $450,000 • Construction of 4,200 linear feet of track • Served by CSX Transportation • Consolidation of two Virginia facilities • Planned growth and expansion with consolidation • Application details: • 1,000 additional railcars annually • $12 Million total estimated project investment • $800,000 estimated cost of rail construction • 10 new jobs associated with this expansion • Application scores 64 of 100 points. • Scores greater than 50 are referred to the CTB for consideration.

Applicant Profile • HGAC, LLC is looking to consolidate and grow an existing Virginia business for reinforcing steel fabrication. • Rail is a critical component of the King George proposed site. • Rehabilitation of existing rail and construction of new rail • Additional sites are under consideration in North Carolina and Maryland according to the Applicant.

  5. Requested Project Funding A grantee match is required for amounts above $300,000 Total capital investments in the facility expansion are estimated at $12 Million. Total rail infrastructure costs are estimated at $800,000.
