Original design by world-renowned designer Marc Newson The new, stylish K-01 camera was designed in collaboration with one of the world’s most acclaimed and influential designers of his generation, Mr. Marc Newson. His work is present in many major museum collections, includind the MoMA in New York, London’s Design Museum and V&A, the Centre Georges Pompidou and the Vitra Design Museum. Having set numerous records at auction, Newson’s work now accounts for almost 25% of the total contemporary design market. Included in Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the world

Exceptional image quality • CMOS APS-C 16MP • Sensor-shift system ‘ShakeReduction System’ • Sensitivity up to ISO 25 600 • Dustremoval system Newly developed CMOS APS-C 16 MP sensor (23.7X15.7mm) for high-speed readout of image data signals and fully detailed pictures. In-body stabilization to compensate the camera shake effect when shooting in poor light conditions and guarantee sharp images. => Advantage : All the K-mount lenses are stabilized Extra-wide sensitivity range up to ISO 25 600 while minimizing annoying digital noise at all sensitivity levels

Sometimes the action happens so quickly it is hard to catch the perfect shot, fast continuous shooting allows you to capture many closely spaced photographs so that you can pick the one which best captures the action. • Shutter speed 1/4000e sec. • To freeze movement in an image. This is a significant advantage when focusing on moving subjects or for more complex image composition • Autozoom • The camera magnifies automatically the focus area to assure the focus • on the subject for a better image composition • Focus Peaking • It highlights the contrast at edge (outline) to see if it is in focus or not • Metering System 1 024 segments • For a very precise analysis of exposure

Round-shaped diaphragm, which produces a smooth, natural bokeh (out-of-focus) effect in the background. - Treatment against dust, water and grease - Makes it easy to wipe off oily stains such as fingerprints and cosmetics.
