  2. Theodor Seuss Geisel • Theodor Seuss Geisel (Ted) was born on Howard Street in Springfield Massachusetts. • Ted attend Dartmouth College. • He would become a famous write, and gave his mother credit for inspiring the rhythms he used. • Dr. Seuss past away on September 24, 1994

  3. OH the books he would write! • Dr. Seuss wrote 44 children’s books during his career. • The books were made in fifteen different languages. • 200 million copies of Dr. Seuss books were made. • These books included books like….

Accomplishments • Seuss was editor-in-chief of the Jack-O-Lantern at Dartmouth College. • He wrote 44 children’s books • Close to 11 television show got their ideas from Seuss • His books inspired a Broad-way musical and feature length motion picture. • Honors include: Two Academy awards, two Emmy awards, a Peabody Award and Pulitzer Award.
