  4.  Your task • Around the room you will find different types of sources material. You have 3 mins to investigate each source and record your findings, before you move on in a clockwise direction to the next work station. • Which source was the most useful?

  6. Your task • Watch the film clip about life in a medieval monastery. Answer the questions on your video sheet. •  What would be the hardest thing about life in a monastery for you?

  7.  Homework You are a novice monk and you are feeling lonely. Write a letter home to your parents. Include descriptions of the following: The clothes you wear The duties (religious & practical) of a monk The places in the monastery The best thing about being a monk
