  6. Your task • Watch the film clip about life in a medieval monastery. Answer the questions on your video sheet. •  What would be the hardest thing about life in a monastery for you?

  7.  Homework You are a novice monk and you are feeling lonely. Write a letter home to your parents. Include descriptions of the following: The clothes you wear The duties (religious & practical) of a monk The places in the monastery The best thing about being a monk
