  2. RFM (Remote Firmware Management) application enables remote upgrading of CP modules via GPRS/LAN connection. The application connects to the GPRS Proxy server and to ELAS from a remote location via Internet and sends to the CP all the software needed to upgrade CP modules. Introduction

  10. Task – Applying an upgrade file to update selected control panels in a specified amount of time. Click the ‘Add Task’ button Enter a task name Creating an upgrade Task • Define the date and time to commence and to end the task. • After clicking the OK button the application uploads the control panel list from the ELAS.

  12. Once you choose the desired control panel, click ‘Add to List’ button. You can choose multiple control panels by using the Shift and CTRL keys. The chosen CP list can be seen by clicking ‘View List’ button. After choosing the control panels to be upgraded task will be created by clicking the ‘Create Task’ button.   13. Task progress • In the 'Task' pane the current running tasks are shown on top, and the control panel list on the bottom.

  14. Task List Status The status of each task can be as following: N/A – Task has not started yet or CP was not connected to Proxy after task has been created. Expired – task was expired before all upgradeable modules to be upgraded or number specifying percent completed 0 – 100 – Task in progress, percent of the complete task.

  15. Control Panel Status The ‘Action Log’ can be prompt by clicking the button below the ‘CP List’ window.

  16. In Progress – Application is uploading the software to the communication module flash memory. Stored – Software has been uploaded to the communication module flash memory. No Need – Versions of the existing software and upgrade software are the same. Not Compatible – There is no module with such abbreviation. Complete – Upgrade was finished successfully. Started – The control panel had sent an approval to start upgrade. Start Later – The firmware was downloaded to the control panel but an approval for the upgrade was not given by the panel.(System is armed, AC Loss…) Control Panel Status
