Segregation of Reactions to Lolium Isolate TP2 in F2 Seedlings from Cross N4 × Hope

This study examines the segregation of reactions to the Lolium isolate TP2 in F2 seedlings derived from the cross N4 × Hope. Observations were made five days post-inoculation, revealing varying levels of resistance among the seedlings. The results indicate a moderately susceptible classification in some seedlings while others show resistant reactions. This research contributes to understanding plant responses to environmental stressors and aids in future breeding strategies aimed at enhancing resistance traits.
