  3. In your ISN answer the following In your opinion, what is the purpose of government? What are different types of governments you know about? Warm up

Most governments fall into two types of governments – centralized and decentralized Centralized governments are where all the power is controlled by either one person or a small group of people Decentralized governments break up the power to help prevent one person from becoming too powerful Types of Government

  5. Get into groups Each group will get a definition Copy the definition on your chart As a group fill out the chart using the internet Group Activity
