  2. Come Backstage for a brief history of how it all began for U2 U2’s early sound was post-punk but their sound eventually changed to incorporate many genres of popular music. U2 was first signed with Island Records, which is the only record deal they have had. The band has been together for more than 50 years. The band has come out with many C.D.s their first being Boy and their most recent being No Line on the Horizon.

  5. Biography of Bono Paul David Hewson (born 10 May 1960), most commonly known by his stage name Bono, is the lead singer of the band U2. The 51 year old singer was born in Dublin Ireland to Iris, and Brendan Robert "Bob" Hewson. A fact you may have already noticed is that bono never leaves without his sunglasses in a Rolling Stones interview he says, “[I have] very sensitive eyes to light. If somebody takes my photograph, I will see the flash for the rest of the day. My right eye swells up. I've a blockage there, so that my eyes go red a lot. So it's part vanity, it's part privacy and part sensitivity.”

I like “Miracle Drug” because the guitar in the beginning is just so calming, it is also one of the songs that changes depending on the listener’s mood.
