  1. Comenius Project 2013-2015 “Religious and cultural heritageas a factor in tourismdevelopment ” “Pitagora College” San Giovanni Rotondo Italy Romania Meeting

  2. I’m Gianluigi Nardella, I’m 19 yearsold and I live in San Marco in Lamis, Italy. I attend a scout group: I meeteveryday a lotof people, wemakecamps and campgroupseveryday. Also, I ampassionateabout football, formula uno and wrestling. As regard the Comeniusexperience I can saythat I reallyenjoyedit. This project made me realizethattalkingtoyoung people ofothercountriesis a possibilitytogrowbecauseyou share manyideas. Also, I improve a lotmy english!

  3. In Leonard Falcone opinion, the Comenius project has been a very good experience: “I met good people and I established with them good relationships created in a short time. I didn't think so. If the school offered me a future opportunity to attend this kind of project, I would do it again without a second thought. It made me grow in a cultural sense”.

  4. My name is Michele Pio, I am 17 years old and I live in San Giovanni Rotondo.I dedicate my spear time to riding and to the study of lyric opera, accordeon, piano, organ and music composition.Comenius was a memorable experience: when I was asked to partecipate in this project, initially I didn't agree: I was afraid offeeling uncomfortable, but now that is all over, I can say that it was an experience that I would live again. It was an experience that helped me to grow mentally, it helped me to understand the lifestyle and customs of foreign countries.

  5. Comenius meeting in Italy… The Institute Pitagora College, thanks to this project, felt itself to be part of the European community. For the first time in the short history of our school such dreamtime comes true. We are at the sixth meeting… In these years we have had the opportunity to visit your beautiful lands and it was a real honor to have known them and shared with you lot of special moments.

  6. All the staff and boys of Pitagora College hoped that you feel comfortable in our land of Gargano. This was our first experience of hosting boys from Europe, we think now there are beautiful friendships among us because the Comenius project aim is above all, to create knowledge and integration! We are proud of our Technical Economic Institute because it is the first private school of second degree in our territory to partecipate in thise kind of project too. Also, San Giovanni Rotondo is the land of hospitality. It is the land of a great saint, St. Pio from Pietrelcina. We think that if today we are here, if we are the only private school to take parte in the Comenius…in all of Italy …we have to thank you.

  7. Our major toohostedeverybody, ourschool and you, tothankyou and tohopeyouwillbe once againhere

  8. 1^ Visit in Italy: San Giovanni Rotondo… The exchange, which began in 2013 and which involved Spain, Romania, Bulgaria, Portugal, Poland and our school was an opportunity for interaction and openness for families, students and teachers too. It was an opportunity to open a window on the world but also to break the closed atmosphere that reigned in our small but wonderful country where the atmosphere is unique, magical and simple. A country where the narrow streets, balconies, "mugnali" (external staircases), towers, palaces and ancient churches have revealed the magic and the feeling of the typical medieval village.

  9. Knowledge and fun… The spirit that has moved us was that of the relationship, of the encounter with the other and with diversity as a resource of knowledge but also of fun.

  10. Otherexcursions: the Foresta Umbra, San Matteo Convent… • The excursions have stimulated OUR curiosity, OUR enthusiasm and ABOVE ALL many smiles.

  11. Karol Woytila and ourreligion…PadrePio… In particular, the project was conducted with the collaboration of teachers Pasquale MassimilianoGravina and Filomena La Porta. It has focused our attention on a European principle of fundamental importance: the link between our religion and the Pope Karol Wojtyla

  12. Whatdidwelearn? What remains of all this? Lifelong learning, understanding and respect for democracy; tolerance for other people and other cultures, but especially the awarness of the natural or scientific wealth that each country retains

  13. And the last day…avisitto Vieste: a naturalparadise…
