System RAPORT • designed for a pilot application – organization of military exercise in a Centrum of Simulation Technologies (CST) National Academy of Defense • (NAD) in Liptovský Mikuláš (Slovakia) • CST organizes several overlapping military exercises during a training year • problems withlarge amount of documents and e-mails • problems with knowledge management • problems with time management • knowledge system based on e-mail communications and a web portal

Why ontology based workflow management in the system RAPORT? • improves the quality of work • the large amount of documents and e-mails has to be processed • this kind of work requires the broad knowledge of rules • goal: error-proof administrative processes • saves the processing cost • goal: avoid duplicities in user actions • time savings • documents can be quickly reused and processed according to its ontological description • user never needs to manually find related document • proposed system will inform user about the progress of current workflow activity • goal: effective document access and activities overview
