The Team and The Club • When is it a Team and when is it a Group? • Group • Any number of people who interact with each other, are aware of each other and perceive themselves as a group • Team • A distinguishable set of two or more individuals who interact interdependently to achieve specific, shared and valued objectives • Who is in your team? • Players, Coaches, Coach Developers, Mentors, Manager etc, etc, etc • Learning Styles?? (previous slide)

  18. Leadership • A Good Leader: • Creates a climate with a shared vision • Helps develop the innovation • Liaises between the team and interested parties • Encourages team member growth • Is supportive • Gives direction where needed
