  2. FRQ – time to brush up! Compare and contrast political liberalism with political conservatism in the first half of the 19th century. Give specific examples. • Brainstorm everything you know about this topic. • What patterns emerge? • Make your thesis. Select your supporting details.

The end of Napoleon was supposed to bring about a new age for France under the reign of of Louis XVIII, however what was new became old and over the next 24 years France witnessed a series of liberal and radical revolutions.
