  1. WENDLEBURY VILLAGE CLUB TRAVELLING SUPPER Wendlebury’s favourite event! The date this year is SATURDAY 14th June 2014 £12.50 per head including wine but excluding the food you provide! This is a great way to meet people if you are new to the village or to catch up with old friends. You provide one course for four to six guests and indulge in further courses at other people’s homes with different people. This is not Masterchef and the aim of the evening is to enjoy the company of other village residents rather than to provide Michelin quality food! Whilst it is important for most people to provide one course, if enough replies indicate that eight people can be seated at once, we may be able to accommodate those who for various reasons are unable to provide food that day. Wine is supplied for starter and main courses and the evening begins at the pub at 7.15pm where you will receive your itinerary and will this year again finish in the Red Lion from around 10.30pm. If you are interested, please reply by 18th May so you can be informed which course you are to host well in advance.
