  2. Agro who?

  3. Foliar Nutrition in Olives is a well known Technology for: A. Fertilizing of non/partially irrigated orchards. B. To fulfill special nutritional needs while soil nutrition cannot supply the tree with the nutrients at the right timing and the correct amount.

  4. The Company Developed the following Specific Products for Olives: • ‘PON’- Prebloom Olive NutriVant • to enhance fruit setting. • Composition of: N, P, K+B coated with FertiVant. (10-33-21+1.88B+FV). • ‘SON’- Summer Olive NutriVant • to enhance fruit size. • Composition of: N, P, K coated with FertiVant. • (8-16-40+FV).

  5. AgroVant Had tested its products over thousands of hectars in field trials and demos all over : Italy Spain Turkey Australia and Israel. Tested Parameters : Fresh yield per hectare Oil yield Oil quality Leaves minerals content etc’.

  6. Cost benefit ratio for one hectare of olive sprayed with PON *18% oil **3.0 eu/kg oil

  7. Application method : 2.0 - 3.0% concentration (PON-SON) Volume: 1000-1500 l/h, in one spray.

  30. Summary & Conclusions • General results show a trend toward advantage to the PON (spring application) under OFF year (increase in fruit Nr) and yield increase of53% - 56% against 33% in the summer spray. • Under ONyear, the advantage is to the SON - summer spray (increase in fruit size), and the added yield is about 43% against 16-25% of the spring application. • There is no marked advantage to the double spray (PON +SON) over a single application with the right product at the right season (On/Off), and the added yield does not pay the cost of the additional spray. • The NutriVant foliar sprays on OLIVE trees have not show an influence on either the oil percentage or the oil quality. • In Oil Olives, the increase in Oil quantity, is subjected to the • Increase in fruit yields.
