May Water Day Last Week of School Agenda To celebrate all of our accomplishments this year, we will have some fun activities to look forward to! 2014 Water Day will take place during PE class (2:10-2:40). Wear your swimsuit under your clothes, wear sandals, bring a towel and sunscreen. You can pack a change of clothes to wear after P.E. if you’d like. Please send all items in a bag with their name clearly written on the bag. 1stGrade Mrs. Lapham May May 1st Grade Assembly Read-a-thon & Game Day There will be an Awards Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. in the Cafeteria. Please join us as we perform and honor our accomplishments! We will be having our classroom presentation immediately following the grade level assembly. We will be watching our class video and handing out our individual awards until 11. Morning: We will be having our read-a-thon. They may bring books from home or they can use our classroom books. They may also bring a blanket and pillow. Afternoon: We will be having our Puzzle and Game Day! Students may bring their favorite puzzles and/or games to share with their classmates. Students are responsible for pieces. May Morning Meeting & Movie Day We will be having a School Wide Morning Meeting at 9:00. All first graders will go to a second grade classroom and get to experience morning meeting with a second grade teacher. We will also be watching a movie in our classroom. Students may bring in a movie (Rated ‘G’ only). They may also bring a blanket, pillow, and a bag of popped popcorn. We will be cleaning out our desks and bringing our stuff home. It is important to bring your backpack on this day! *Last Day of School*
