The Club Development Programme, funded by Sport and Recreation South Africa (SRSA) since 2006, aims to enhance participation in targeted sports such as Athletics, Cricket, Football, Netball, and Rugby. With 967 male and 112 female athletes engaged in regular activities, the programme has facilitated equipment handovers to 13 netball clubs and 23 rugby clubs. Education opportunities include coaching and technical courses. Applications for club support are open from December to February each year. Various events, such as Mandela Day, engage the community and promote volunteerism.
