The 2010 SP-Bench National Benchmarking meeting brought together 48 local authorities from the entire East of England region to discuss challenges and share insights regarding service provision. Participants reviewed anonymised data focused on value for money (VfM), which has been highlighted in the Audit Commission report. Key topics included outcomes, achievements, benchmarking methodologies, and innovative approaches to performance metrics. Attendees were encouraged to assess cost-effectiveness and quality, compare performances, and share success stories to enhance service delivery across local authorities.
