Christian Malcolm’s achievements • World Junior Champion: Gold in both 100m and 200m in Annecy (1998) • Commonwealth Games: Silver in 200m in Kuala Lumpur (1998) • Bronze in 200m in Delhi (2010) • European Championships: Silver in 200m in Barcelona (2010) • World Championships: Bronze in 4 x 100m in Helsinki (2005) and Osaka (2007) • Olympic Games: Been to 3 Olympic Games; - finished 5th in both Sydney and Beijing, • and 3rd in his Semi final in London.

Wales at the Games • Team of over 300 people • Team includes: Athletes, Management, HQ, Physio’s, Medics, PR • Team send off will be 11 June 2014 • Games start on 23 July 2014 with Opening Ceremony • Games close 3 August 2014 • Team homecoming will be September • Wales is represented in every sport (no diving though) • BBC and BBC Cymru Wales will have extensive coverage so make sure you cheer the team on.
