Lessons Learned • A design/build approach with the project contractor is a very helpful and labor saving methodology • Permitting is a very complex process, especially in Boulder County • Funding these types of projects must be done through grants & matchings • Coordinating volunteer activities such as re-vegetation efforts is a big job.
