  2. Kadriorg Park • Setupin 1718 as part ofthepalaceestate. • Natural landscape, withmeadows and forestgroves. NearbytheSwanPond - severalofthepalace'sauxiliarybuildings. • Vast park surroundingKadriorg Palace.

  3. In 2011 – was completed the Japanesegarden.  • Kadriorg’s park consistsofbaroque park, people’s park and nature’s park.

  4. Harjumägi • Harjugate hill - Inger bastion was until the 19th century quite difficult to reach. • Since 1887 different outdoor cafés and entertainment facilities have operated from here.

  5. Today Harjumägi offers a great view over the recently rebuilt Freedom Square, The Monument to the War of Independence was put up in 2009. • The renovated FreedomSquare is a popular point.

  6. Tammsaare park • Inthecitycentrebythe Estonia NationalTheatre. Untilthe 19th century- buildingswererestrictedformilitaryreasons. In 1976 – the park reconstructed. • In 1978 a statue of Estonian writer Anton Hansen Tammsaare was placed in the middle of the park. Today Tammsaare park is a popular gathering point.

Politseiaed • For many decades it was a police vegetable garden, hence Politseiaed (Police Garden). • The park's contemporary look dates to after World War II. • The area was reconstructed between 2003 and 2005. • The park has a fountain, water wall, modern playgrounds and fenced area for dogs.

  8. Hirvepark • Hirvepark (deer’ park) - established in the former moat in front of the bastions, deer once lived here until the 1930s. • Has hardly damaged in the war. In end of the 1980s - during the Singing Revolution, public meetings held here, inspired Estonian freedom from the Soviet Union, changing the history of the nation.

  9. Löwenruh Park • Löwenruh park is situated in the corner of Mustamäe. • From the historical Löwenruh manor park, a circle shape pond and tree canopy from the middle of 19th century remain. • The name of the park comes from the former owner Von Löwen name. Since 1993 the park is a nature conservation area.
