Empowering Our Community: A Mission for Positive Change

Our mission, led by Amanda Braga and Melissa Ferreira, is to create a lasting positive impact on our community through innovative initiatives. As grade twelve students at St. Benedict CSS in the University-level Business Leadership course, we are driven to identify and implement projects that foster growth, support, and unity among our peers and local residents. Together, we strive to inspire others and make a meaningful difference that will resonate beyond our high school years.

  1. Our Mission

  2. Why? We are from St. Benedict CSS and are grade twelve students taking a University level Business Leadership course. For our final project we need to think of an idea where we have an enduring positive impact on others. It must show leadership, kindness, caring, and generousity towards the community.
  3. Our Plan We would like to host an event at St. Peters to raise money and Christmas gifts to families in Cambridge who are less fortunate. It will begin on December 3rd, 2013 and end on December 17th, 2013.It will be for two weeks only. Your teacher will have an envelope to collect all money and Amanda and I will bring boxes at the end of the drive to collect all Christmas gifts.

Our Plan We will be distributing different ornament shapes such as: an angel, candy cane, and a star to your teacher which cost $2 to buy and can be decorated and hung on the Christmas tree near the office. You can give your money to your teacher which will be put into the envelope to donate to our Christmas family.
  5. Our Christmas Family Our Christmas family consists of: A mom A dad A 5 year old girl named Brooklynn Size: 6X-7 Ideas could be bought: Clothes Winter coat, scarves, mittens, hats Toys (game board, dolls)
