  2. The fog comes On little cat feet. It sits looking Over harbor and city On silent haunches And then moves on.

  3. Term 1: Personification Example: “It sits looking over harbor and city” Explanation: Fog is described as if it was sitting and looking over harbor and city. Fog cannot look.

  4. Term 2: Metaphor Example: The fog comes on little cat feet Explanation: The fog does not walk but it is silent like cat feet.

  5. Term 3: Personification Example: The fog comes on little cat feet Explanation: Fog does not walk but it floats into the city.
