  3. Program Leadership Network(PLN) Mission • Foster and strengthen Extension education programming throughout the Southern region by promoting multi-state cooperation • Anticipate emerging program issues and needs • Implement action processes to address them in a timely manner.

  4. Program Leadership Network(PLN) The SR-PLN is structured around three main groups: Program Committees (PC) Program Leadership Committee (PLC) Executive Committee (EC) *Administratively responsible to ASRED and AEA

Executive Committee (EC) EC Roles and Responsibilities (Action Arm of SR-PLN)* • Prompt action on emerging issues and on regional AWP • Promote effective communication • Responsible for interim (between scheduled meetings of SR-PLC) • Authority to act on issues that emerge • May appoint teams or task forces to address multi-program issues *As actions are taken, communication with SR-PLC, PCs, ASRED and AEA, and the entire Extension system is important.
