  3. Background Daniel Southern Leadership Groupemerged out of invitations coming to Daniel Southern from organizations with whom he had prior existing relationships. A select handful of client relationships have evolved since 1998 and what began as a past time has become Dan’s full time occupation. He now assists a variety of organizations from around the world with significant reach and stature.

  5. Case Study #1 Billy Graham Evangelistic Association – looking for someone with experience to head our project. The ministry of the most respected evangelist of our time found it wise to bring in talent outside its own organization to lead a two-year special project.In 1989 a team was established to put on an international conference for 10,000 itinerant evangelists from more than 150 countries around the world. The conference was to be held in Amsterdam NL. Using past experience Dan was invited to return to successfully lead a team of more than 50 staff that oversaw all the physical arrangements of the 12-day conference held in July 2000. The mission was fully met, cost savings were realized and the project went down as a success in the history of world evangelism.

  6. Case Study #2 Greg Laurie’s Harvest Crusades – taking our ministry to a higher level. A long-time acquaintance leading a mega church and burgeoning evangelistic ministry was seeking to build a structure within its existing organization to expand its reach.Dan’s mandate was to get to know the organization, its personnel and procedures and determine what might be done to lift the effectiveness of the ministry to a new level. Over a span of 24 months, key components were added to the ministry, staff further developed and procedures established to strengthen the effectiveness of the existing programs.

  7. Case Study #3 Mike Silva’s Tall Pines Festivals – seeking guidance to help shape our current opportunities and vision for the future. A very successful international ministry has been earnestly seeking opportunities to conduct evangelistic outreaches here in the USA. Dan was recruited to come with guidance, materials, leadership and a proven track-record and establish a pattern for the ministry to follow in the future. All of this with a view toward repeating the process many times over in similar communities throughout the region.

  8. Case Study #4Actor and Celebrity Stephen Baldwin was seeking to establish his own ministry. A newly converted public figure was seeking to found his own ministry after working within an existing ministry for 3 years. Dan was asked to preside over this process which included all aspects of running a non-profit. In the first two years with success on all fronts, the ministry grew rapidly with hundreds of kids coming to Christ. Dan continues to oversee Stephen’s ministry outreach today.

  9. Case Study #5 One of America’s oldest and most respected ministries needed to turn around after more than a decade of declension. Dan was invited to head up the American Tract Society which had steadily lost prominence over the past decade. Under his leadership income and circulation was quadrupled in less than 5 years .
