  3. CONFIDENTIAL Short vowels Can you name the vowels for me? Each vowel has its own sound!! Did you know that? Did you know that vowels are very special? Do you know why? Any word has to have a vowel in it to make it a word

  4. CONFIDENTIAL Short vowel A Short vowel Aa makes the a sound like in cat. Say it with me “a” “a” what word? cat
