Starfish Newsletter Starfish Class - ‘Stars in the making!’ 10th May 2013 • Our learning • In literacy we have been learning about rhyming words. • In maths we have been making doubles. • We have continued our theme of all creatures great and small, thinking about how animals move. • Animals on Display • Have a look at a selection of our box models and salt dough animals in the main entrance of school. • Caterpillars • The caterpillars are still in their cocoons, we are waiting patiently for them to change. • Coming soon • Road safety week – week beginning 10th June 2013 • Starfish School Trip, Lego Land – Thursday 27th June 2013 (see separate letter for details) • Sports Day – Tuesday 2nd July 2013, 1:30pm – weather permitting • Starfish class assembly and sharing learning – Wednesday 3rd July, 9:30am • Parents evening – week beginning 8th July 2013 Snack Monday: Corn Flakes and Milk Tuesday: Oranges Wednesday: Potato cakes Thursday: Dried apricot Friday: Yoghurt Please let a member of Starfish staff know if your child has any allergies.
