Procedures: • Assignment book and take home folder: Students have been given an assignment book and a take home folder that will be brought home each evening with the assignments written down, worksheets to be completed and any important notices. • Last Week’s Work Folder:This folder will come home each Monday. It will contain all the previous weeks graded work. Parents will need to sign next to the date and take out all papers and send back to school on Tuesday.

  4. What to expect in Gr. 3 Work more independently by the end of the year. More project based assignments Know all basic math facts with 90% accuracy by end of the year. Reading logs- will be sent home this week with Book It letter. Students will take Ohio Achievement Assessments in Reading and Mathematics

  5. How Can I check my students grades? You make check your students progress online thru the district’s web site. www.riversidelocalschools.com Please login using the parent assist module: Username:Capital S followed by 6 digit student id number. Password: 8 digit student date of birth– May 5, 1980=05051980

  6. Homework: • Homework will be assigned Monday- Thursday evening. • It will usually be math, spelling and reading. • Students will be keeping a reading log of books they read. All students should try to read at least 15 minutes a night.

  7. Specials: • Monday: Computer 12:10-12:45 • Tuesday: Computer 11:30-12:05                 Music 1:10-1:45 • Wednesday: Art 1:10-1:45 • Thursday: Physical Education 1:10-1:45 • Friday: Library 1:10-1:45
