Educational Experience Four Year Residency Requirement Value added benefits include: • Residential students Nationally receive higher grades • Students who live on campus are generally more involved and have a stronger connection to SNC • Students live out the meaning of Communio, connecting with each other in an educational setting designed with their needs in mind

Housing Agreement • Possibly the first legally binding contract you have ever signed • Contract is with the student • We expect you to fulfill your agreement • Our agreement includes community living expectations • You will receive an email after you have been assigned asking you to read and sign our housing agreement • The contract is available on the REH web-page at http://www.snc.edu/housing/housingagreement2011_2012.html • Please read before arriving on campus.

Your Room Assignment • Email is our OFFICIAL communication means • Your room assignment will be sent electronically around the middle of July • To receive your assignment, we must have your deposit and application on file • In your email you will receive instructions to log into Knightline, where you will be able to see your Hall, Room Number, Roommate’s Name and Roommate’s email address • Once assignments have been made, we cannot offer room changes until 2 weeks into the semester have passed • Monday, June 20 is the LAST day to request roommate changes

First Impressions • Remember that your facebook profile will very likely be your new roommate’s first impression of you • Review your pictures, posts, blogs and groups to consider if they are an accurate reflection of who you are • Roommate Agreements filled out during the first week; seek compromise

Move In Day • Proceed directly to the Library Lot (follow signs) • You will be directed to your residence hall when space becomes available • You will check into your hall with the hall staff • “Kunkel’s Crew”will be waiting to help you move in • Loft pick up will be available at the North and South ends of campus
