  2. Welcome to Class!! • Fill out student information sheet

  3. Expectations • 1. Be in your seat and begin the assignment when the bell rings. • 2.No purses or back-packs on the desks. • 3. Cell Phones will be taken up and sent to the office. • 4. Bring your binder/materials every day. • 5. Bring your printout of your homework everyday.

  4. Notes • Notes will be in Cornell Style. These will be checked. • On the left side, write the objective. • The summary should be how the notes and the objective connect and why.

  5. How to turn in your work • All work is due at the first of the class. • Stamp your paper with the date. • Place your paper in the folder for your class period. • Late work will be accepted as follows: • 1. One day late maximum of 90% • 2. Two days late maximum of 80% and your parents will be contacted. • 3. Three to Five days maximum of 70% • 4. After that you will receive a zero. • IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR WORK

  6. How to turn in your work • If you are turning in late work or work for when you were absent, you must complete one of the forms next to the folders and attach it to your work.

  7. If you know you are going to be absent • There are desk calendars at the side of the room that will have the weekly agenda on them. • Be proactive and take care of things in advance.

  8. Calculators • YOU are responsible for the calculator that corresponds with the desk you sit at. • If it is not there when you come into the room you must notify me IMMEDIATELY.

  9. Hall Passes and Potty Passes • Only one person can be out of the room. We now have a uniform hall pass policy. I will enforce this. • You will receive two potty passes per six weeks. • Save them and you will get one homework grade dropped at the end of the six weeks.

  10. TUTORIALS • Tutorials will before or after school and by appointment at lunch. • You must sign in when you come to tutorials. • The sign in sheet will be at the my desk . • This is also the appropriate time to discuss grades and problems with me. • If I am not in the room I will be next door in the workroom.
