Our trip to the Post Office

1. Our trip to the Post Office November 3rd, 2011 Pine Road Life Skills Class

2. On Friday, we took a bus to get to the post office.

3. When we got to the post office, we went inside to meet Mr. mark.

4. The postal workers wear uniforms to work!

5. We saw so many packages! We even got to sort some into bins.

6. We saw many postal workers too!

7. It was fun to hold all the packages!

8. We went outside and saw the mail trucks. There were so many!!

9. Inside the mail truck is where the postal workers put the mail and packages before they go to our houses.

10. Some postal workers walk to deliver the mail. They use a mailbag.

11. The postal workers sort all the mail into bins. Each house has its own bin.

12. We got to help sort the mail. It was fun!

13. We listened to a story about the post office and why we have stamps.

14. The post office has its own flag!

15. At the end of our trip, we bought stamps so we could mail our letters.

16. We had such a great time at the post office. We learned so much!
