  4. Cap, Gown, and V-Stole • We will distribute caps and gowns during lunch on May 23 • All fees must be paid before getting cap and gown • You must have a cap and gown to participate in the graduation ceremony

  5. Fees • Current/Past Due Obligations • Cafeteria • Library • Lost Textbooks/Uniforms • Yearly Student Fees • Senior Trip – Final Payment Due April 25 • Senior Activity Fee – Past Due

  6. Senior Magazine • A Glasgow Daily Times publication that lists all seniors • See info on the senior website

  7. No Excuses • The Senior page of the school website is updated frequently. • Read your Calendar • Listen to Announcements • Check with Senior Sponsors • Sign up for Remind 101

  8. Your Last Weeks at GHS

  9. Community Activities • Strawberry Festival and Ice Cream Social • Proper attire • Proper behavior

  10. Kings Island—May 22 • Depart from GHS at 8:00am • Return around midnight • Wear Homeroom T-shirt (shorts are ok) • Wristband for unlimited drinks in park (as long as numbers are high) • Eating 2-3 fast food meals outside the park (bring $$)

  11. May 23 – Awards Day • Meet in the gym at 8:05am • Dress appropriately for the awards program – look good!

  12. May 25—Baccalaureate • This is an optional, non-denominational religious service • Your officers are responsible for planning this event • Dress nicely—NO caps and gowns • Seniors arrive at 5pm • Bacc starts at 6pm • Reception following

  13. May 27 – Practice!!!Full Dress Practice and Pictures • Report to the gym at 8:05am • MUST wear your full graduation cap, gown, v-stole, and graduation shoes • Seniors will be grouped by height • Wilderness Studios will take photos (bring money and order form)

  14. May 28 – Practice and Picnic • Meet in the gym at 8:05 am • After practice, you will be transported by bus to and from the park for the Senior Picnic • Wear Homeroom T-shirts (shorts are ok) • PARENT NOTE FOR BREAKFAST DUE

  15. May 29—Final Practice and Senior Breakfast • Report to gym at 8:05 am for practice • Dress appropriately – it’s a nice event, and it’s at a church • Bring note by Wednesday, May 28 if you want to leave after the breakfast; otherwise, return to school and attend class as usual. All notes will be collected by Mrs. Martin • Report to the cafeteria at 6pm; Graduation at 7pm

  16. Rules of Graduation practice • Be present • Be on time – Attendance taken at 8:05 • Behave appropriately • Appropriate Dress/Required Dress

  17. If you break a rule. . . • 1st Offense: ISS (this will result in missing one or more senior activities) • 2nd Offense: No Participation in Graduation Ceremony

  18. Required Dress -- Boys • Black Dress Pants • Black Dress Socks • Black Shoes • White Dress Shirt • Conservative, dark tie **If you are lacking any part of your required graduation attire, please notify a senior sponsor ASAP

  19. Required Dress -- Girls • Clothing must not be visible above the collar/below the hem of gown • Black shoes (closed toes and closed heels); flats are ok **If you are lacking any part of your required graduation attire, please notify a senior sponsor ASAP

  20. Homeroom T-shirt Design • Brainstorm ideas, then pick the best • Pick a homeroom artist to do the design • First and second choice of t-shirt and ink color • Record your t-shirt size on list • Final design due Tuesday, April 21 to Mrs. Martin
