  1. Welcome to Ms. Finley’s Pre-Algebra Class

  2. About Me: I graduated from Muhlenberg College with a B.S. in Mathematics along with Elementary and K-12 Mathematics certification. I then taught 5th, 6th, and 7th grade Math at Bernardsville Middle School for 2 years.

  3. About Me: This is my second year teaching 7th and 8th grade Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and Geometry at H.B.W. and also my second year being the advisor of the Math Club.

  4. Content: Geometry & Transformations Measurement, Area, and Volume Exponents & Real Numbers Solving Equations Solving Inequalities Functions, Graphing, & Linear Equations Solving Systems of Equations

  5. Grading Policy: Grades consist of: - Tests - Quizzes/Projects/Graded Homework and/or Classwork - Homework: only 10% of the marking period grade - Benchmarks (1 each marking period) Assignments will be posted on Genesis and all graded work will be recorded and returned as quickly as possible.

  6. Extra Help: Extra help is available to any student that requests it. Our doors are always open, so if your child has any questions please encourage them to see us as soon as possible! Arrangements can be made for help before schooland after school. Students coming in for extra help should always have questions ready, with the work they have tried and their class notes.
