In this engaging activity, students will construct a Maasai nyumba using paper to represent traditional building elements: kuta (walls), milango (door), and pa’a (roof). Working collaboratively, students will compare and contrast their models, enhancing their understanding of Maasai culture. Students will reflect on the challenges faced during the project and suggest improvements for clearer instructions. This hands-on experience will cultivate both creative skills and cultural awareness through language practice and teamwork.
