  4. PENGERTIAN MBS • MBS adalahupayaserius yang rumit, yang memunculkanberbagaiisukebijakandanmelibatkanbanyaklinikewenangandalampengambilankeputusansertatanggungjawabdanakuntabilitasataskonsekuensikeputusan yang diambil

TUJUAN MBS • meningkatkanmutupendidikanmelaluikemandiriandaninisiatifsekolahdalammengeloladanmemberdayakansumberdaya yang tersedia • meningkatkankepedulianwargasekolahdanmasyarakatdalammenyelenggarakanpendidikanmelaluipengambilankeputusanbersama • meningkatkantanggungjawabsekolahkepadaorangtua, masyarakat, danpemerintahtentangmutusekolahnya • meningkatkankompetisi yang sehatantarsekolahtentangmutupendidikan yang akandicapai.
