PROJECT NAME (Bold 12pt) Project size (sq. ft.) and Construction Cost (Bold 10pt) Date of Substantial Completion (Regular 10pt) Category: Building, Sustainability, Preservation, Interior Architecture, Residential, Small Project and/or Low Budget (Bold 10pt) POWERPOINT SLIDE FORMAT JURY SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: Images: A power point presentation with a maximum of 18 power point slides shall be submitted for review by the jury. The images should show all principal sides of the building (not necessary for interior architecture), at least 3 interior views, floor plan and site plan (if appropriate). Written Statement: Included in the presentation shall be a written statement, which briefly and concisely describes the project (building or related group of buildings) being submitted. The written statement shall include a design statement outlining the design problem and solution, site description (if appropriate), and building program. Indicate whether the project is new construction, an addition, renovation, restoration, preservation or interior architecture. The written statement should NOT include the name of the Architect or firm. Slide Advance Timing: The timing is preset to 45 seconds for the first slide and 15 seconds for each of the subsequent slides, totaling 5 minutes. You may redistribute the timing as you wish to relate to the quantity of text on each slide as long as you do not exceed 5 minutes. (click on Slide Show then Slide Transition and adjust the Slide Advance) If you choose to use less than 18 slides, delete the unused slides and redistribute the timing to total 5 minutes or less. Design advancement, which advocates the contemporary understanding of design by proposing new approaches to the development of architectural form. Exemplary performance in technical advancement, environmental advancement, sustainability or preservation/restoration. This text shall be Regular Arial 10 pt. and be limited to 150 words. The format of this text box may be changed to accommodate the image(s) that accompany it on this slide only.
