  3. Work Groups in Operation • TG5 – Solids Control – RP13C • WG 2 – Shaker Screen Certification • WG 3 – Translate SC13 from RP to auditable Standard • TG6 –Testing of Heavy Brines – RP13J • WG 1 – Revisions to Testing of Heavy Brines • WG 10 – CRA Testing JIP

Work Groups in Operation • TG7 – Rheology & Hydraulics – RP13D • Revision of RP13D – 7th edition ready to ballot • 7th edition maintains only USC units • 8th edition needs WG to revise and add SI units • TG8 – Material Specifications – RP13K and Spec 13A • WG 5 – Revision of starch specifications • WG 6 – Alternative methods of density determination

Ad Hoc Groups in Operation • TG2 – RP13L • Revision of Training and Qualification of Drilling Fluid Technologists • Focus on rig-site personnel only • Decided to proceed splitting knowledge into “core” and “advanced” levels • Core knowledge to be specific to that covered at a recognized service company 2-3 months mud school • Advanced knowledge to be specific to certain well or operational environments (DW, HPHT, etc.) • Teams within WG to works on creating structured around advanced skills list • Expect to have work completed by mid 3Q 2014
