How did Scientist Make Animals Glow? • Some scientists at the California Institute of Technology had made a virus from an HIV and injected it to animals genes from other organisms to make a specific trait in the animals. • Scientists also use a green fluorescent protein in animals to study a disease. For example they used it in monkeys to study the Huntington disease.
