Our mission focuses on providing supportive services to clubs as they engage in charitable, literary, and educational activities. As a 501(C)(3) charitable organization, donations through the Foundation are tax-deductible and help us fulfill our motto: "Helping Optimists Help Kids."   4. The Charitable Side of OI • The Foundation is a 501(C)3 charitable organization • Gifts made through the Foundation are tax-deductible if used for a charitable, literary, or educational purpose
