  2. Partnerships • Ad on the back of Playboy, the mirror image of the front including the playboy bunnies from the show The Girls Next Door and just a small tattoo of the VW rabbit logo on one of the model’s backs • This partnership, marketed toward younger males, could turn off some women.

  3. History • Adolf Hitler wanted Ferdinand Porsche to create a “people’s car” which became the “beetle” • Because Porsche didn’t believe in the Nazi party, he didn’t approve of Hitler’s use of propaganda when advertising the car • Finally, in the late 1940’s VW had exports going to the surrounding European countries.
