  3. Final of the National stage in Latvia was held in May, 2012. TheNationalcompetitionwasheldintwostages – first onewasopenedforallshools and duringthisstagetheparticipantswerecollectingpointsforcertainactivities.:1) plantedtheforest; 2) madethebird-house;3) picked-upthelitterintheforest; 4) didtheforestlessonoutsidethe school integratingthe school curriculum; 5) went to guidedforestexcursionwithforestprofessionalParticipants - 116 schools, 6800 pupils

  4. 9 schools from Latvia who collected the biggest number of points in first stage were chosen to participate in second stage/final – to complete the knowledge test about Europe’s Forests.  Collecting all results were found three knowledgeable young people who `ll go to Estonia in Autumn time.In selection could participate every pupil age from 13 until 19

  6. Collecting results are cleared three conversant young people and they are from Ventspils 4th HighSchool: Agnis Kaspars Frišenfelds (47 p. ofmax 50 p.) Maruta Roģe (47 p.) Roberts Bomis (45 p.) They also will participate in YPEF 2011 / 2012 European (Final) Stage in Sagadi, Estonia
