  2. Information about Jackie Robinson • 1. He was born on January 31 ,1919 • 2. He met Martin Luther King Jr in college • 3. He was the first African American to play baseball • 4. Jackie Robinson's baseball uniform was 42 • 5. He married Rachel Isum on 1946 • 6. Jackie Robinson had three kids one was a girl and two boys • 7. Sadly Jackie Robinson Jr. died in a car accident  • 8. Jackie Robinson retired from the Brooklyn Dodgers October 10 1956 • 9. He died at age 53 on the day October 24 1972 • 10. He died because of a heart attack • 11. Even though he is dead we still have him as a hero!!!!!
