  8. External Reproductive Organs External Organs (genitals) include the penis, scrotum and testicles

  9. External Reproductive Organs Testes Testes – produce the male sex cells (sperm) & male sex hormone (testosterone)

  10. External Reproductive Organs Epididymis Epididymis – a coiled tube where the sperm cells mature

  11. External Reproductive Organs Scrotum Scrotum – a loose pouch of skin that houses the testes, located below the penis

  12. External Reproductive Organs Penis Penis – male reproductive organ, also used to urinate

  14. Internal Reproductive Organs Vas Deferens Vas Deferens – Tube which sperm travels through from the Epididymis towards the penis

  15. Internal Reproductive Organs Seminal Vesicles Seminal Vesicles – glands that produce a fluid that combines with sperm and additional fluid to form semen

  16. Internal Reproductive Organs Prostate Gland Prostate Gland – the size of a walnut, produces a fluid that helps the sperm move

  17. Internal Reproductive Organs Urethra Urethra – 2 functions: to carry urine and to carry semen outside of the body
