Dudley LPC, regulated by parliamentary acts, stands as a statutory body representing 64 pharmacy contractors. Under the leadership of Chair Dan Attry and Chief Officer Wyn Wattley, the LPC negotiates with PCTs, ensuring contractors meet the standards set by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. With an evolving pharmacy contract established in 2005, LPCs provide essential and advanced services, from Medication Use Reviews to Smoking Cessation. Challenges such as pharmacy remuneration and prescribing changes present opportunities for collaboration and service redesign, making a significant impact in community health.
